Some time ago I wrote a post about where to find information on the Game weekly specials. I then deleted the post as I didn’t think it was relevant. However, the search engines still direct people here, so if you are looking for the Game weekly specials for Botswana (or, in fact, for any of the countries with [...] After a night camping and four hours driving home I didn’t feel much like cooking so I went to Sports Bar, Maun. Officially the kitchen opens at 6.30pm on a Sunday and I arrived at 6pm, but since the staff were there it wasn’t a problem to make a couple of pizzas and some chips. While I waited I was able to have cold beer and watch Transworld International Sport on satellite TV. After a not unreasonable length of time, maybe 20 minutes, my food was delivered, in nice shiny silver coated pizza boxes. Very smart, but how were the contents? At 8am on Monday I was preparing to type a glowing review of the service I received, but by 8.30 my opinion had changed. After deciding to take the kids on a camping trip I needed to equip myself. Not wanting to spend large amounts of money I decided to go along to Kalahari Kanvas by the airport in Maun and see what I could hire.
