However, if you subscribe to the notion that physics is the root of everything then it&#8217;s probably not far off.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 740px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/xkcd.com\/435\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium\" title=\"XKCD - Purity\" src=\"https:\/\/imgs.xkcd.com\/comics\/purity.png\" alt=\"XKCD - Purity\" data-popupalt-original-title=\"null\" width=\"740\" height=\"308\"><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">The book covers the last 2\/3 of this graphic.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The reader is taken on a gallop through space (just how incredibly vast it is), atoms (how incredibly small they are), life (how incredibly unlikely we are) and geology (it rocks).&nbsp; Bryson weaves the facts of science between the personalities, giving life and context to how we as humans have came to be, and then reverse engineered the universe to see how it all works.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s fun, educational and enlightening.<\/p>\n<p>Describing this is a review was probably over-egging the pudding.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Still working on the writing habit, so what better excuse for a post than to review a book.
